Before joining Capalino, Aileen worked for Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP, the largest federal lobbying, public policy, and law practice in Washington, DC. She provided policy support to the Government Relations Department by conducting research and monitoring various policy issues for energy, natural resources, and environmental clients. She also managed the scheduling process of client meetings with Congress, the Executive Branch, and other regulatory bodies.
Aileen’s career in government began in 2014 on Capitol Hill when she joined the staff of Congressman Bill Pascrell (D-NJ). She oversaw the Washington, DC schedule and operations for the Congressman and other senior staff and served as a liaison for the Congressman with constituents, Members of Congress, representatives of interest groups, and members of the media. She also performed legislative research and drafted response letters to effectively communicate Representative Pascrell’s position on a variety of topics.
Aileen holds a B.A. in Communications, cum laude, from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.
