By using a Sustainability Portfolio approach that bundles carbon offsets with community development programs to fight climate change and build resilient cities, Capalino helped Urban Offsets advance a pilot project with a key public-private partnership to animate the carbon offset market in NYC. Capalino also helped Urban Offsets plant more than 5,000 trees throughout NYC’s 5 boroughs to mitigate the Growing Urban Heat Island Effect, improve the functionality of urban green spaces, and help NYC and NYS meet targeted sustainability goals.
