AIA New York: A Platform for the Future of the City
On Saturday May 11th, the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter introduced A Platform for the Future of the City, a policy platform of the most pressing issues facing the City’s built environment. It identifies challenges facing the City and includes solutions that would lead to job creation, additional affordable housing and a healthier city.
Capalino is very proud to have work with AIA New York on this important project. We conducted several hours of interviews with AIA New York committee chairs and members to use their expertise to identify problems facing the City and possible solutions. Working closely with the AIA New York President, Executive Director and Policy Director we helped craft the structure of the document and the content.
