What do you specialize in at Capalino?

I am the Executive Assistant for the Land Use, Housing + Real Estate group. My job is to make sure everyone is organized and prepared so that they can take care of their own responsibilities.

What is your favorite place in NYC?

Greenwich Village. When walking its streets, I get an energy that I don’t get anywhere else in the world and reminds me of Jack Kerouac.

If you could have dinner with one legend, who would it be?

Yoko Ono- she is a brilliant artist. It has been interesting watching her career be sublimated into her husband’s, then witness her fight to be seen as the artist she was before she married John and who she has become since his death.

What is your proudest accomplishment at work? 

Helping to produce and distribute Capalino’s first podcast.

If you have any other job, what would it be?

Singer. I love to sing and I feel at home on stage in a way I don’t feel anywhere else.

What is your favorite book?

My favorite book is Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Too many in this country treat the poor as if it’s a moral failing.I
