They needed develop a strategy to create the QueensWay, a 3.5-mile linear park and cultural greenway converted from an abandoned railway in Central Queens.

What we got done
The QueensWay transformation includes an elevated pedestrian and bicycle pathway connecting six Queens communities. The project will provide much-needed public green space, recreation areas, alternative commuting opportunities, and community spaces to celebrate the cultural diversity of Queens.
