Coro New York Supports the Next Generation of Leaders
Capalino has been a proud, long-time supporter of Coro New York, a leading not-for-profit organization that trains thousands of New Yorkers on how to be effective civic leaders.
Every year, Capalino proudly supports Coro in a number of ways including the sponsorship of a Coro fellow and participating in its annual gala. At this year’s gala, which took place on April 21, Coro paid recognized three incredible honoree: Stephen M. Ross, Chairman and Founder of Related Companies; David Kramer, President of the Hudson Companies; and the New York City Council which was represented by Council Members Ritchie Torres, Helen Rosenthal, Carlos Menchaca and Antonio Reynoso. Our team joined 400 people in attendance to pay special tribute to these civic leaders. Congratulations!
Many of Capalino’s employees have been beneficiaries of Coro programs including:
- Travis Terry – Member of the Board of Directors and graduate of Leadership New York
- George Fontas, Brooke Schafran, Tom Gray and Cathleen Collins all of whom were participants in Leadership New York
- Safeena Mecklai– the first Capalino-sponsored Coro Fellow and has joined our team
