Founded by Ann Rubenstein Tisch, YWLN supports two life-changing programs that empower students to break the cycle of poverty through education:  The Young Women’s Leadership Schools, a high-performing network of all-girls public secondary schools, and CollegeBound Initiative (CBI), a comprehensive college guidance program for young men and women that places full-time, highly trained college counselors in 24 high-need public schools in New York City. Established by Tisch in 2001, CBI has become a nationally recognized model of success sought out by educational partners, colleges, and policymakers.
